United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Development of a Digital Giving Strategy in United States and China Regions.
Duration:
8 weeks / 6 - 10 hours per week
Duties & responsibilities
- Undertake research and outreach to define fundraising strategy for CDS Kenya for all projects to one document.
- The strategy will include the following components:
- Define the value proposition of giving in the United States region;
- Complete analysis of existing crowd-funding platforms;
- Complete a cost-benefit analysis with a projected revenue stream;
- Develop a methodology for market analysis including defining stakeholders; conducting outreach and optimal mix of desk research, interviews;
- Design an implementation plan that includes key messages.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- Demonstrated research skills and understanding of finance and business development.
- Knowledgeable of philanthropy, charity and on-line resource mobilization platforms in the United States region.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner.
Languages:
- English, Level: Working knowledge, Desirable
