United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Research & Data collection on Talent Acquisition Sources in Somalia.

Duration:

2 weeks / 16 - 20 hours

Duties & responsibilities

  • The Online Volunteer (OV) will play a crucial role in gathering information about talent acquisition and existing high-reach platforms in Somalia.
  • The Online Volunteer (OV) will develop assessment research on the
  1. Professional Associations, Government bodies, and Volunteer involving organizations working with persons with disabilities in Somalia,
  2. Existing platforms on social media (e.g. FB/ LinkedIn groups/X) and on the web (e.g. recruitment platforms) which are active and have a high reach of volunteering assignments seekers,
  3. Employment and volunteering assignments fairs taking place in Somalia with a special focus on those related to PWDs,
  4. Recommendations on methods to reach youth, women, PWDs, and potential candidates to join the UN.
  5. Preferred language/s and mode of disseminating information
  • Research with the mentioned elements above - PowerPoint presentation on the key findings of the research.

Eligibility criteria

Required experience:

  • Strong online research skills to efficiently gather information from various sources and databases. 
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the list.
  • Effective written communication skills to present the data and findings in a clear and organized manner.

  • English, Level: Fluent, Required
