Opportunity description
United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Support the E-Governance and Digital Transformation in Iraq.
Duration:
12 weeks / 16 - 20 hours
Duties & responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance for the Engagement Facility project by coordinating with the project team and management, handling at least 15 administrative tasks per month.
- Attending and coordinating at least 5 meetings per month as guided by the UNDP team.
- Support the creation and development of communication materials and visibility for at least 5 events and activities per the assignment duration, ensuring visibility on UNDP social networks and platforms.
- Properly follow up on at least 5 project activities per month and handle any other requirements in line with the scope of work.
- Provide minutes/readouts for at least 5 meetings and workshops per month.
- Translate at least 15 required documents per assignment duration as guided by project management.
- Coordinate at least 2 publications and awareness-raising campaigns per month, participating in the development of their content as needed.
- Develop at least 10 social media posts, 2 blogs, and 2 web stories or videos per month for UNDP networks and platforms.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- A degree in a related field is considered an asset i.e Bachelor’s and Two years of working experience minimum.
- BSc in Public relation, business administration, or related fields.
- 2 years’ Experience in project coordination, research, or project management
- Previous Experience in project and activity management.
- Previous Experience in strategic documents and concept note writing.
- Experience in working for an international organization is an asset.
- Logistics management including meeting/event management is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
- Previous experience in developing content, communication campaigns and social media promotion.
Languages:
- Arabic, Level: Mother tongue
- English, Level: Fluent, Required
