United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Teach English to support women journalists in Somalia.
Duration:
12 weeks / 16 - 20 hours
Duties & responsibilities
- Online Volunteer will provide:
- 14 hours’ online teaching per week for Bilan journalists in Mogadishu (two groups of 3 journalists) and in five Federal Member States (one group of two students in each state).
- Classes will be 1 hour delivered twice a week for each group. (Scheduling and groups can be adjusted after assessment of students if needed.)
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
Candidates should have professional experience in teaching English.
Languages:
- English, Level: Fluent, Required
- Somali, Level: Fluent, Desirable
