Opportunity description
Oxford University is calling graduates for two fully-funded scholarships that are available annually to full-time or part-time graduates studying courses within the range accepted by Somerville College, with a preference in 2022/23 for applicants to courses in Physics and Law. These Oxford Thatcher Graduate Scholarship is jointly funded by the University of Oxford and the Margaret Thatcher Scholarship Trust.

If you get this scholarship, you will have:
- Covering course fees.
- A grant for living costs.

Eligibility criteria
You will be considered automatically for these scholarships if:
- you are applying to start a new graduate course.
- you are one of the applicants for graduate courses within the range accepted by Somerville.
- you submit your course application by the relevant January admissions deadline.
- your application is not placed on a waiting list or held back after the December or January admissions deadline to be re-evaluated against applications received by the March admissions deadline.
- meet the eligibility criteria for the course you have been applied for.
- applicants who hold deferred offers to start in 2022-23 are not eligible to be considered for this scholarship.
Please note: Selection is expected to take place in April 2022.

You will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Academic merit.
- Your Potential.
Please note: Preference will normally be given to applicants whose area of study most overlaps with the academic interests of the College’s academic staff.
