Erasmus Mundus program is calling all who are passionate about domains related to nuclear energy to participate in the SARENA program and get a chance to have 15 scholarships offered by the program for the academic year 2022. These master's scholarships aim to develop scientific, technical, and management skills enabling engineers to work in all domains related to nuclear energy and applications with a strong international culture. As well the program covers a wide range of nuclear applications including nuclear power plant (NPP) design and operation and addresses the important issue of safe management of radioactive waste, which is a prerequisite for sustainability.
Benefits
If you get this scholarship, you will have:
- Participation Costs (covering fees for 2 years and health insurance):
- For Students from Program Countries: 9,000€.
- For Students from Partner Countries:18,000€.
- Subsistence Costs: 1,000€/month (for 24 months).
- Travel and Installation Costs: max. 7,000€.

Eligibility criteria
- You must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or a recognized equivalent diploma from an accredited institution (minimum 3 years full-time study) in a scientific or technical discipline.
- An academic degree of at least 180 ECTS credits in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental sciences, etc.
- A very high level of competence in English.
- Professional experience in the SARENA field (eg energy/environment) in industry or in research, Professional experiences not related to the domain, social or extra-scholar activities.
Selection Criteria:
Your admission is based on the following criteria:
- Academic excellence (30%).
- Professional/academic experience, extra-curricular activities (20%).
- Professional objectives and career project (15%).
- Motivation for intercultural experience, interest in European countries and cultures (10%).
- Language skills (15%).
- Recommendation letters (10%).
