Opportunity description
The Department of Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford announces a partially funded scholarship for Oxford graduates in the UK. The donor, Nicholas Pratt, after whom this scholarship is named, completed his studies in philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Oxford in 1967 and then established this scholarship in 2013, in order to fund the studies of graduate researchers at the university.

Eligibility criteria
- One full scholarship will be provided to applicants applying for any of the full-time study or research courses, offered by the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Life Sciences (MPLS) and accepted at St John's College (excluding those offered by the Institute of Mathematics).
- All qualified applicants will be considered for the scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) they state on their university postgraduate application.
