The PhD Scholarship in Age-related Immune Dysfunction, Inflammation & Nutritional Status is a fully funded opportunity to pursue doctoral studies focused on understanding immune changes associated with aging, inflammation, and the impact of nutrition on immune responses in older adults.
The project aims to identify the molecular and cellular mechanisms that lead to declining immune function and age-related inflammation, contributing to advancing scientific knowledge to improve responses to infections, vaccines, and age-related diseases.

Eligibility criteria
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as immunology, genetics, or bioinformatics
- Preferred Experience: Background or hands-on experience in cellular immunology, genetic analysis or bioinformatics, and tissue culture
- Skills: Strong research skills and the ability to work effectively within a research team
