The Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship is a partial tuition fee waiver awarded to international students who demonstrate strong academic performance, exceptional work experience, or a creative portfolio. It supports new students enrolling in full-time taught postgraduate programs on campus.
Eligible Programs and Courses
The scholarship applies to all on-campus taught postgraduate degree programs starting in January 2026.
Not eligible: PhD programs, research-based master’s degrees (e.g., MSc by Research), or any other research qualifications.

Deadline: 14 October 2025
Applications are currently open for the January 2026 intake only.
Benefits
A £5,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study.
The scholarship is a one-time award and will be directly deducted from the tuition fee.
Limited number of awards available.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be new international students who are fully self-funded (100%).
Must be enrolled in a full-time, on-campus taught postgraduate program, lasting at least two semesters.
The program must start in January 2026 (deferred entries are not eligible).
Academic merit, work experience, or a creative portfolio will be considered.
Must not be receiving another scholarship from the university.
An interview may be required.
Applicants must accept the scholarship and pay the required deposit by the CAS deadline.
Scholarship holders are expected to participate in university marketing activities (e.g., videos, blog posts, events) during their studies.
