Qassim University in Saudi Arabia offers international students the opportunity to apply for admission to its academic programs through the Study in Saudi Arabia platform, the official platform of the Saudi Ministry of Education for receiving applications from international students who wish to study at Saudi universities.
The opportunity is available to international students from outside Saudi Arabia, in addition to some categories of non-Saudi residents inside the Kingdom, according to the specified conditions. Study opportunities through the platform may be offered as full scholarships, partial scholarships, or self-funded study, depending on the program, university, and type of admission available at the time of application.

Eligibility criteria
Requirements vary depending on the study level and program. However, in general, students must:

- Submit the required academic qualification for the study level.

Special Requirements for Graduate Studies for Non-Saudi Students
For master’s and PhD programs, Qassim University states that non-Saudi applicants from outside Saudi Arabia must apply through the Study in Saudi Arabia platform. Internal scholarships for non-Saudi applicants residing inside Saudi Arabia require conditions such as:
- Having a valid residence permit.
- The applicant must not be sponsored by any university in Saudi Arabia.
- Holding a university degree from a recognized university.
- Having documents authenticated by the Saudi embassy or cultural attaché in the country where the degree was obtained.
- Meeting the program requirements in terms of GPA and previous specialization.
- The applicant must not be over 30 years old for master’s programs.
- The applicant must not be over 35 years old for PhD programs.
- Achieving the English language score required for the program, if the program requires it.
- Admission to health-related specializations is not available under internal scholarships, according to the graduate studies page.
