Egypt Scholars is a non-governmental, non-profit organization led by Arab researchers, academics, and volunteers from around the world. It aims to promote scientific research and empower Arab youth academically and professionally through open knowledge initiatives, reliable scientific content, and international support networks.
To mark the one-year anniversary of the publication of the second edition of “Your Guide to Graduate Studies Abroad”, which has reached tens of thousands of readers worldwide, the Books Team at Egypt Scholars launched the “Read with Egypt Scholars” competition. The goal is to involve readers in evaluating and improving future editions of the book.

Results Announcement: September 15, 2025
Benefits
A one-on-one mentorship session with one of the “inspiring figures” featured in the book.
Publication of your review on Egypt Scholars’ official platforms (subject to editorial and linguistic revision).
Direct engagement with one of the inspiring role models mentioned in the book.
Eligibility criteria
Full compliance with all competition rules and the provided application form.
Write a review article in Arabic, between 500 and 1100 words.
The review must include:
A brief introduction to the book and its contents.
Highlights and takeaways that stood out to you.
Suggestions for improving future editions (content or design).
The most inspiring “highlight” in the book, why it inspired you, and a question you’d ask the person if given the chance.
Submission format: Word document, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, text justified.
The article must be original and written in your own words.
