Volunteers will participate in field research activities, monitor nesting beaches, protect turtle nests, and collect scientific data to support biodiversity conservation efforts. Duties & responsibilities
- Monitor sea turtle nesting beaches and breeding sites.
- Conduct field surveys and collect environmental and scientific data.
- Assist in the protection of turtle nests and hatchlings.
- Identify and document threats affecting sea turtles and their natural habitats.
- Participate in environmental awareness and outreach activities for local communities and visitors.
- Support marine conservation research and biodiversity protection efforts.
Eligibility criteria
- Strong interest in environmental conservation and wildlife protection.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in field-based environments.
- Readiness to collaborate within an international and multicultural team.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and active participation in daily activities.
- No previous experience in sea turtle conservation is required.
Note
Applications are accepted throughout the year until all available places in each intake are filled. Early application is strongly recommended, especially during the summer season (June–August), due to high demand for the program.
