Opportunity description
UNV offers a volunteer opportunity and announces its need for 2 Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the Partnership Coordinator, Program Associate and in close collaboration with the communications team support it by producing 2 webpages for the YWTI. This volunteer will last for 2 weeks through which you will have the opportunity to build connections at UNV & UNICEF and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support the launch of the second round of YWTI.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines, and the YWTI (objective, outcome, capacity development training...etc).
- Create a draft design based on requirements and discuss with the partnership coordinator & communications team.
- Develop the design according to the agreed requirements.
- Follow the corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- A degree in graphic design or related field.
- Professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts.
- In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Marketing.
- Ability to work 1 - 5 hours per week.
- Previous work with a UN agency is also considered an asset (not mandatory).
- Fluent in the English language.
- Arabic, Level: Working knowledge.
