In the framework of the series of capacity building workshops for rural women in Algeria under the Regional Initiative to Promote Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND), ESCWA is organizing a workshop on sustainable oil extraction in Laghouat.
Benefits
- The workshop aims to enhance the knowledge of rural women in Algeria on the concepts of aromatic and medicinal plants, and the extraction, refining and packaging of plant oil products.
- The second day of the workshop is dedicated to the practical implementation of the knowledge learned on the first day.

- Have an Interest in Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region .
- Have an Interest in sustainable oil extraction in Laghouat.
- Have the desire of capacity building workshops for rural women in Algeria.
