Workshop for Artists and Designers from the Workshop Dubai in the UAE

The Workshop Dubai is pleased to announce a participation opportunity in a workshop with the artist Kay Bathke entitled; Tactile Textures Workshop, which will be conducted on April 29, 2023. In this 2-hour workshop, you will have a chance to learn to use a range of techniques to create a beautiful piece of textured art on canvas and experiment with different techniques and colors. This is your chance to be more creative.

About the Instructor:

Kay Bathke is an artist and educator from London, England. She is the owner of Dubai based art company Camden Creative Arts, specializing in art classes, workshops, and events. With a passion for abstract art and mark-making skills, Kay works with experimental materials and techniques to create unique and inspiring artworks that are both beautiful for the home and relaxing to create.

You will be responsible for:

• Experimenting with design ideas and the different techniques that can be used to create texture in art.
• Working on a 40 x 50 cm size artwork.
• Create a unique and beautiful interior design piece to take home by using a ready-to-hang canvas, flexible plaster material, and a range of tools.

You must follow the following criteria:

• In this workshop, designs can range from simple and bold to more intricate patterns, with guidance given throughout to help you create the finished piece.
• You must be over 15 years old.
• The class will be conducted in English.
• Workshop participation fee: 340 AED (All materials are included).
• The receipt sent via email is the confirmation of registration for the workshop.
• All payments are non-refundable.
