The One Club for Creativity announces its annual TDC70 online competition in the field of writing and design.
Benefits
- The winning work from #TDC70 will receive a Certificate of Typographic Excellence from the competition.
- The winning work will be published in the World's Best Print feed and will also be featured on TDC's social media channels.
- The winner of this competition will go on a tour of eight global traveling exhibitions.
Eligibility criteria
- The TDC competition has 3 disciplines and categories, which are:
- Designs related to communication:
- This major targets any creative design that uses writing, letters, or written languages – whether it's print design, digital design, personal experiences, architecture, fashion, movie titles, social media campaigns, or other related disciplines.
- Lettering designs:
- This specialty targets any work in which letters are modified, drawn, or created such as traditional or abstract calligraphy, tattoos, wordmarks, custom logos, or other related disciplines.
- Writing-related designs:
- This specialty targets designs created with font programs; Such as individual or group letters, emojis, or programs used in writing.
- The TDC70 jury will include professional experts in most major writings, including Arabic, Cyrillic, Hindi, CJK, Latin, Thai as well as some African scripts.
- The organization offers significant regional discounts on participation fees, with nearly half of the world's countries receiving a 60% discount, and another quarter receiving a 20% discount, knowing that only the most economically prosperous countries and regions pay full participation fees.
- Additional discounts are also available for TDC members and students.
