International Volunteer HQ offers a <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Volunteer-Work" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">volunteer opportunity</a> in the field of teaching in Bali - Lovina. It invites volunteers to teach school children valuable English language skills,&nbsp;share their culture, and help improve access to education within the local community which can help kids stay in school, continue with further education, and open doors to better employment opportunities later in life.

As a volunteer teacher, you’ll be responsible:<ul><li>Running after-school English classes for elementary school children.&nbsp;</li><li>Day-to-day teaching which generally consists of:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Teaching English to 8-12-year-olds.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Providing pronunciation and language guidance.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Lesson planning.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Setting up educational games and activities.</li></ul>Please note:&nbsp;<ul><li>You may be paired up with another volunteer or in sole charge.</li><li>You’re free to get creative with how you teach.&nbsp;</li></ul>

You should follow the following criteria:<ul><li>This program is ideal for volunteers with a positive outlook who enjoy working with children or are aspiring teachers.&nbsp;</li><li>No previous experience is required as you’ll be supported by qualified local staff.&nbsp;</li><li>TEFL certification or experience would be an advantage.</li><li>You must speak fluent English.</li><li>You must obtain the Social Cultural Visa (B-211).</li><li>Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate in this program.</li><li>Volunteers aged 16-18 are required to provide IVHQ with parental consent in order to participate on the program.</li><li>All volunteers aged 13+ are required to provide a criminal background check to IVHQ prior to departure.&nbsp;</li><li>Those aged 13-17, if unable to obtain a criminal background check, can provide two character reference letters instead.</li></ul>Please note:<ul><li>Programs start every Monday.</li><li>There is an affordable fee from&nbsp;$425&nbsp;for 1 week.</li></ul><h3>About IVHQ:</h3>IVHQ offers the largest range of affordable, safe, and impactful volunteer programs.
