Short Film Festival and a Competition for Filmmakers

Film Freeway invites the directors, producers, and actors to participate in a short film festival in Turkey; Aizanoi Short Film Festival. The events will take place on 02/03/04 June 2022 with the theme of “Cultural Heritage, Environmental Awareness and Climate Crisis, Sports and Health”. It will start with the movie screening that will be held at the Temple of Zeus in Aizanoi Ancient City on Thursday, June 02, 2022, and will continue with online screenings and workshops on June 03/04, 2022. It will end with the Gala Night and the award ceremony on June 04, 2022.

If your film is among the winning films, you will get:

• One of the amazing awards.
• Workshops.

You must follow the following criteria:

• Aizanoi Short Film Festival is a film festival open to all organizations - producers/agencies - independent directors.
• Short films not exceeding 25 minutes are evaluated. 
• Evaluation will be made when there are at least 30 productions in each category.
• The film production date must be 2019 or later.
• Multiple entries are allowed. More than one movie can be submitted in the same category.
•  Participants agree that the films and other materials they send to the festival can be used and/or published on the website, and for any promotional purposes deemed appropriate by the festival. 
• Decisions of the selection committees and juries are final.
• Foreign films participating from outside Turkey will be in English or have English subtitles.
• The Award Ceremony and Gala night will be held in the Ancient City of Aizanoi, Workshops will be held, all events will be planned in accordance with the pandemic rules, Changes may be made due to the decisions taken by the Government due to the pandemic.
• The owners, producers, and directors of the films applying to the 2nd Aizanoi Short Film Festival program are deemed to have accepted the rules and terms. 

Timeline:

• Opening Date: January 20, 2022.
• Regular Deadline: April 20, 2022.
• Notification Date: May 15, 2022.
• Event Date: June 2 – 4, 2022.
