Opportunity description

The ESCWA Foundation announces the Fourth Arab Competition Forum in Saudi Arabia. In 2020, ESCWA launched the Arab Competition Forum, an annual platform for exchanging knowledge on competition policy and its enforcement, in partnership with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The forum provides the necessary knowledge and contributes to capacity building on best competition practices in the Arab region, and facilitates coordination and cooperation at the national, regional, and global levels. ESCWA cooperates in organizing the Fourth Arab Competition Forum with UNCTAD, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the General Authority for Competition in Saudi Arabia.

Benefits

You will learn both of the following by participating in the year's forum:

  • Mergers and acquisitions. The forum will also address enhancing the efficiency of the authorities.
  • Competition in developing and least developed countries.
  • Best practices for planning and conducting market studies.
