Ashoka invites you to participate in a transformative initiative: the "Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Future" program, celebrating its 25th anniversary. This initiative is a collaboration between Ashoka and Schneider Electric Foundation.
This global program aims to support the most innovative organizations working with youth around issues of just transition. With a focus on sustainable development, social inclusion, and community empowerment.
Benefits
On each continent (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East), the top project will receive the first prize of €30,000, the second prize of €20,000, the third and fourth prizes of €10,000 each, and the fifth spot will receive €5,000. In addition to the jury selection, each project will have an opportunity to compete for the 'Audience Prize' – the favorite idea of Schneider employees in that office, which will also be rewarded with a prize of €2,000. Finally, out of all selected 25 projects, one will receive a special prize of 'Youth Innovation Champion' with a total value of €50,000 at the COP29 conference in November 2024.
Eligibility criteria
- The opportunity is open to youth organizations targeting individuals aged between 15 and 30 years old.
- The initiative focuses on youth organizations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
- Applicants must be capable of meeting the deadlines for submitting applications.
