UN Volunteer offers an online volunteer opportunity and announces its need for the efforts of 4 volunteers to translate manuscripts from English to French. It is a short-term task of 2 weeks in order to translate the manuscripts selected for publication into the desired language. The final document shall follow IOM’s editorial practices.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Translating 3 - 4 manuscripts of approximately 10 to 12 pages each in accordance with IOM Styling Guide and British Spelling.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Experience translating texts from English to French following IOM or UN guidelines.
- Understand diaspora engagement and their role in sustainable development and migration issues.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in French.
- Ability to work 11 - 15 h per week.
