Duties & responsibilities
- Support the operation of the helpline by responding to community inquiries and providing accurate, reliable humanitarian information
- Strengthen accountability mechanisms toward affected populations by ensuring information is shared clearly, promptly, and accessibly
- Manage and follow up on cases (case management) and refer them to the relevant authorities when necessary
- Collect and analyze rumors and circulating information, assess their impact, and escalate them to the concerned entities
- Contribute to the preparation of regular analytical reports to support decision-making and improve response effectiveness
- Coordinate with humanitarian organizations and UN agencies to ensure efficient and consistent information flow
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance community engagement
- Maintain and regularly update service directories, partner databases, and referral pathways
- Monitor key performance indicators and continuously update dashboards
- Support direct communication with volunteers and local communities, enhancing engagement and responsiveness
Eligibility criteria
- Age: 18 years and above
- Nationality/Residency: Must be a citizen or a legal resident of the duty country (Syria)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights, International Relations, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in humanitarian or protection work
- Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English
- Skills: Strong communication, data management, and fieldwork skills
