Klaster Innowacji Społecznych is a modern and fully equipped Polish organization based in Gliwice. It also operates an advanced educational center in the Beskid Mountains. The organization focuses on promoting social innovation and youth empowerment through educational and training programs in the areas of social inclusion, digital skills, and environmental work.
As a volunteer, you will join a team of volunteers in Poland to help create real, positive change in the local community. The opportunity focuses on three main areas:
Supporting the inclusion of refugees and disadvantaged youth through cultural and educational activities.
Promoting digital education by organizing workshops on artificial intelligence, digital safety, and media literacy.
Contributing to environmental action through sustainability awareness campaigns and hands-on activities like clean-ups and tree planting.
Volunteers will take part in designing and delivering workshops, organizing youth events, supporting social outreach, and contributing to awareness content. Each volunteer is free to choose their main area of focus and will receive the necessary training and support throughout the project.
Duties & responsibilities
Accommodation: Shared and fully equipped housing in the cities of Gliwice or Katowice.
Work Environment: Modern offices equipped with the latest tools, with access to training rooms, vehicles, and professional equipment.
Expenses:
Monthly allowance (around €180)
Meals or a food allowance
Multisport card for access to sports facilities
Full coverage of local transportation costs related to project activities
Training Programs:
Pre-departure, on-arrival, and mid-term training
Weekly mentoring sessions
Language support for learning Polish
Youthpass certificate upon completion of the project
Team-Building Activities are held at the educational center overlooking a scenic lake in the Beskid Mountains, offering a space that fosters collaboration, learning, and reflection.
Eligibility criteria
Age: Between 18 and 30 years old
No prior experience or formal qualifications required
A passion for learning and community work
Ability to work in a team and take responsibility
Initiative and openness to cultural exchange
Interest in one of the following areas:
Inclusion of refugees and marginalized youth
Digital education and artificial intelligence
Environmental protection and climate action
