UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as GLOWA is developing a comprehensive long term recovery programs for survivors of child trafficking in Cameroon. We are soliciting the support of online volunteers to establish working relationship between our survivor rehabilitation program and some leading higher institutes of learning around the world. searching for motivated volunteers to help develop working and collaborative relationships with higher institute of learning around the world.
GLOWA is a counter trafficking organization that has been actively standing against child trafficking and related abuses in Cameroon since 2004. We are presently transitioning and upgrading our rehabilitation package to survivors through a sewing academy. To achieve the objective of training survivors to become veritable technicians, we are seeking partnership with higher institute of learning to support us in further develop the program, The major areas of collaboration shall include, capacity building, research, etc
Volunteer duration and working hours:
1-5 hours per week for 15 weeks.
Duties & responsibilities
The volunteer will work with the team at GLOWA to develop the specific objectives of any particular partnership intention. Our working language will preferably be English.
Eligibility criteria
- Volunteer should have excellent Communication and Marketing skills and should also have knowledge of project development and management.
- experience in partnership and/or relationship development is an added advantage
- Required languages: English.
