Volunteer Online with UN: Graphic Design For 2 Arabic SDGs Reports

UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, to make graphic designs For 2 Arabic SDGs Reports. UNDP is currently working on a project to support the Iraqi government in implementing and monitoring the sustainable development goals. During this project, it conducts several activities, studies and reports that support the government in accelerating the achievement of sustainable development goals, monitoring gaps, and analyzing data.

Volunteer duration and working hours:

6-10 hours per week for 1 week.

We are looking for one Online Volunteer who under the guidance of [SDGs team and communication team] and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by producing one of graphic designs for Accelerating SDGs Reports. In particular, the Online Volunteer is required to: - Collect information on SDGs background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.; - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point and communications team; - Develop the design according to agreed requirements. The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance. The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the [SDGs team] at [UNDP] and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support [The Accelerating Reports].

• Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or a related field is considered an asset.
• Arabic, Level: Fluent, Desirable. English, Level: Fluent, Desirable.
