UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity (Jordan) for re-designing the induction slides and translating them into Arabic.
As part of the onboarding process for the newly hired UN Volunteers, UNV Jordan organizes induction session with newcomers covering general information about UNV programme, explain UNV office and their host entities’ roles, condition of service, and how they will get support throughout their assignments. In order to make the presentation fresh and attractive, we need a professional online volunteer to re-design it and improve its graphics. The assigned volunteer should follow the UNV brand guidelines that we will be provided in advance.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
1-5 hours per week for overall 3 weeks.
Duties & responsibilities
We are looking for two online volunteers who can assist us with designing and translating the induction presentation slides for newcomers. The selected volunteers are expected to handle the following task:
The first online volunteer will do the following
- Review the presentation slides and suggest graphics improvements. - Make the agreed improvements to the presentation.
After completing the above-listed tasks, the second volunteer will then:
- Translate the entire presentation to Arabic.
- Suggest improvements to the language to make it simpler and clear.
Eligibility criteria
- Required experience: First candidate should: experience in designing presentations. The second candidate: experience in translating documents from English to Arabic
- Languages: English, Level: Fluent, Desirable Arabic, Level: Mother tongue, Desirable
