UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Kuwait seeks for a creative and motivated candidates to support our team with creating designs, artwork, and content for our UN social media accounts.
The Online Volunteer with experience in Graphic Design will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Development Coordination Officer, Programme Communication and Advocacy, in the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in the State of Kuwait. The integration of social media platforms, including social networking tools—such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat forms a critical component of the UNRCO in Kuwait communications strategy. Tasks will include and not limited to: UNTalk webinar flyers, posts to mark International Days in Kuwait context, UN Campaigns and surveys, brochures, video compilations.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
11-20 hours per week for 24 weeks.
Duties & responsibilities
- The online volunteer will be asked to create a design flyer for UN dialogues, infographics for our policy papers, seminars, and videographics to promote Surveys, campaigns, RCO brochure.
- The design and its layout should follow UN corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance.
- develop posts for social media to mark international days. around 30 social media posts, 6 infographics and 4 flyers
Eligibility criteria
- Have a proven track record in graphic / web material design with experience in designing document layouts,
- have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications,
- good verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in graphic design/ related field.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic and English.
