UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, at UNRCO, Ghana for Graphic designing. A host of activities will be held by the United Nations in Ghana and to promote and support communication for the event, social media creatives cards will be made to help widely disseminate these events and activities which includes designing of assets such as proposals, flyers, post cards and event posters for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Thread and website etc.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
16-20 hours per week for 8 weeks.
Duties & responsibilities
We are looking for online volunteers to support us in: Creative Design: a well-crafted design including proposals that clearly communicates the objectives to stakeholders, community members, and beyond. Rendition: Use design for posters, social media post, banners, and image sizes for branding
Eligibility criteria
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of Branding
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software (Illustrator, Photoshop, coral draw, etc.)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent time management and organizational skills Specific qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is often preferred or Certification or courses in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- A minimum of 2 years in designing graphics would be beneficial Selected online volunteers will be provided with relevant and necessary information to carry out their mission.
- Languages: English, Level: Fluent, Required
