Opportunity description

The United Nations Volunteers Program offers a volunteer opportunity to search for potential donors for the empowerment and protection of women in Palestine. Palestinian female graduates live in difficult circumstances in Palestine. They have graduated from universities, but they cannot find suitable jobs. The program aims to improve the quality of life for this marginalized group in order to play an active role in the development of society. Through this role, the program will be able to reach out to potential donors and thus provide an increase in the level and quality of services needed by the young graduates.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
  • Fundraising.
  • Search for potential donors who want to support the Foundation's programs and projects.
  • Identify potential donors and partners and provide contacts to the SWG for action.
  • All meetings and communications will be online mainly through email and Whatsapp.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • NGO fundraising skills or equivalent experience.
  • The ability to search for donors interested in supporting women's development.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Fluency in the Arabic language.
  • Commitment to combat any form of discrimination, and to promote respect for human rights and individual dignity, without discrimination on race, gender, gender identity, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, age, language, social origin, or any other status.
