Vounteers.ae calls on the Emirate citizens and residents to contribute in organizing ""Shaikh Zayed Festival - 2023/2024". Sheikh Zayed Festival is an annual international cultural festival held in conjunction with the National Day celebrations, The festival is one of the largest cultural festivals in the UAE, selected among the top five cultural events in the world and receives thousands of visitors of various nationalities annually in a distinct family atmosphere, featuring major events for all ages.
The festival is sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE , as an extension of what the founding father, The late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan, has begun. It is another stop on the way to promoting the cultural heritage of the Emirati people and instilling their values and principles firmly in the hearts of our youth.
The festival is supervised by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, reflecting the qualitative leaps the festival has made since its first launch and its strong launch towards the world.
The objectives of the festival Sheikh Zayed:
The festival is a reflection of the vision of the founder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the festival hosts dozens of:
- Countries and cultures, driving the fact that the UAE is a meeting place of civilizations.
- The festival highlights the culture and civilization of the UAE rich in its ideology and traditions, promotes pride in its history and national gains, and confirms that a human being
- The UAE has lived through different stages of time on this good land and has established prosperous and developed societies.
- The festival is a mass cultural event that attracts hundreds of major local, international and folklore performances annually in a distinct family atmosphere.
- The festival pays special attention to children, as they are annually given an educational entertainment atmosphere, activities and events that develop their skills and develop and their abilities.

Duties & responsibilities
- Welcoming and guiding visitors
- Participating in events accompanying the festival
- Introducing the festival, its components and commercial markets to visitors
Eligibility criteria
Registration conditions:
- UAE Nationals Only.
- Attending the festival's training and guidance workshop
- The volunteer must be at least 18 years old.
- Data/documents should be up-to-date in your volunteers.ae account.
- Mandatory attendance (4 weeks)
- 4 different groups are available (A,B,C,D) please selected one.
