Duties & responsibilities

  • Support documenting the results of UNICEF programs across sectors such as education, health, nutrition, and water
  • Assist in ensuring proper visibility of donors according to approved standards (signage, communication materials, events)
  • Develop and produce communication content such as human interest stories, social media posts, and press materials
  • Produce various media materials including reports, presentations, and infographics
  • Collect and organize photos, videos, and field content in coordination with different teams
  • Support the management of social media accounts, monitor engagement, and analyze performance
  • Track media coverage and prepare periodic reports on child-related issues
  • Coordinate with program teams to ensure consistent messaging and continuous documentation of results
  • Support the organization of campaigns, events, international days, and official visits
  • Ensure that all communication materials comply with UNICEF policies and child safeguarding standards

Eligibility criteria

  • Age: 18 years and above
  • Nationality/Residency: Must be a citizen or a legal resident of the duty country (Syria)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in communications or media
  • Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English
  • Skills: Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills
