Volunteer for All Interested in Psychology from ESC in France

ESC invites all passionate about psychology to a volunteer opportunity which launched with a title; Volunteering in a community hosting mentally challenged adults. You will have a chance to volunteer within the community of l’Arche la Vallée in the small town of Hauterives in southeast France, from 01/01/2023 to 30/11/2023 for a total of 45 weeks. This volunteer aims to improve values of solidarity, fraternity, and openness. 

Activity Topics:

• Social challenges
• Health and wellbeing

You will be responsible for:

• Take part of various workshops with them like arts, gardening, games, etc.
• Organizing activities and workshops.

 Please note:

• The community is located in a rural area, it is beautiful but quite remote and far from urban areas.
• The closest big cities are Grenoble (1h drive) and Lyon (1h30 drive).

You should have:

• Interested in the field of psychology.
• Motivation, human abilities, and wanting to learn and share.
• Like nature and you are ready to live surrounded by it. 
• A small experience in the field of personal care is appreciated but not compulsory.
