Tashkeel announces a workshop entitled "Business Planning for Artists" in the United Arab Emirates.

  • The basic principles of strategy building, business planning as well as marketing, and identifying actionable next steps to achieve your vision.

  • This seminar is suitable for all artists who are seeking to develop as part or full professional practitioners, as well as for professional artists interested in learning more about the field.

Eligibility criteria

  • This workshop will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 17th of September 2023.
  • Only 20 places left in this workshop.
  • This workshop will be located in the Al-Safa Art and Design Library.
  • The registration fee for the workshop is AED 255 (+ VAT).
  • The amount paid is not refundable.
  • This training will be provided by trainer Lisa Paleshgar.

About Tashkeel:

Latifa bint Maktoum established the Tashkeel Center in Dubai in 2008 to provide an incubating environment for the development of contemporary art and design practices in the United Arab Emirates. The center opens space for creative and experimental practices and dialogue between practitioners and the community at large, with multidisciplinary studios, workspaces, and exhibitions in Nad Al Sheba and Al Fahidi. Tashkeel adopts an open membership model and its annual program of training, residencies, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, international collaborations, and publications aims to support the development of artistic practitioners, engage the community and promote a lifelong learning approach as well as support the various creative and cultural industries.
