About the Trainer:
Mohammed Al Astad first studied art with Mohammed Aziz Al Khani at the UAE University in Al Ain. He has been a member of the Emirates Fine Arts Society since 1987. He obtained his BA in graphic design from the American University, Washington DC. Soon thereafter, he moved to Abu Dhabi where he continues to live today. He established the Mohammed Al Astad Centre for Artistic Creativity and also taught art at the Cultural Foundation. Al Astad has participated in over 300 group exhibitions and 20 solo shows worldwide, including Three Generations and the ADMAF international touring exhibition (2013-2014). He has exhibited at the Cultural Foundation several times, including a solo show in 2004. His works are included in a number of collections such as that of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and the late Princess Diana.
