Workshop in the UAE for Young Artists from Tashkeel

Tashkeel is pleased to offer a workshop for young artists entitled; Sikka 2023: Tashkeel Young Artist Program - Photo Inspiration, which will run on 5 March 2023 with the artist and graphic designer Bassem Boules. This series of drawing and painting classes for children is aimed to unlock the creative potential by tapping into their imagination and letting them explore materials as they playfully learn about light, color, form, shape, textures, and composition.

About Trainer:

Bassem Boules is an artist and graphic designer who is passionate about realism and the legacy of the Old Masters. He is constantly exploring different media as he jumps back and forth between creating work physically and digitally. A graduate from the Faculty of Fine Art of Alexandria University, Bassem has amassed experience as a freelance designer both in Egypt and in the UAE. At the same time, he has dedicated time and effort to develop his artistic skills as he has done an array of private commissions that have helped him further developed his passion for portraiture.

If you join this enjoyable drawing session, you will have a great opportunity to:

• keep practicing your technical skills while exploring the use of photographs as reference to create drawings.
• experiment with different materials and try a variety of drawing approaches as you focus on composition and proportion in your drawings.

• This workshop is open to 15 participants.

• The Participation Fee is AED 230.00 (+VAT).
