This is an amazing chance to dive into the enchanting realm of wet-felt making with our immersive workshop! Uncover the artistry of working with sumptuous Merino wool in a meticulously designed step-by-step process.

About Instructor:
Nawal Gebreel is a textile designer based at The Bluecoat, Liverpool, UK. Nawal’s name brand uses innovative 3D fabric manipulations to produce her label’s luxurious scarves and wraps. Her work is sought after and sold internationally to museum shops including the Royal Academy of Arts, British Museum, V&A, MAD Museum New York, and boutiques as well as directly to her many loyal customers. Nawal trained as a textile designer at Manchester Metropolitan University and as well as setting up her own label, she is a passionate educator. She has 24 years of teaching experience, mainly in the tertiary education colleges near her home in Liverpool. She runs workshops for groups globally, including the prestigious West Dean College. She teaches textiles as well as watercolor and mixed media painting and printing. Nawal consults across a number of educator and creative-led businesses, as well as being a board member of arts at Bolton University.
