The Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the availability of a number of scholarships for various levels (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs) within the programs offered by Khazar University in Azerbaijan for the academic year 2024/2025:
- Nailekhanim Foundation Scholarship for Girls Only: Includes Master’s and Ph.D. degrees.

Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- For Merit-based scholarships:
- A limited number of scholarships every year for undergraduates and postgraduates.
- The scholarship will be reviewed on annual basis by an appointed academic panel at Khazar University.
- It may be extended for the next year of study, provided that the student’s academic performance is considered up to its level.
- For Nailekhanim scholarship:
- Nailekhanim scholarship is a competition-based full scholarship for a gifted female student who:
- is determined to pursue her studies towards a post-graduate academic degree (either Master's or Doctoral).
- have an outstanding academic record and passion for higher education and high-level academic research.
- A minimum of 3.7 (out of 4) of grade point average (GPA), or equivalent, depending on the grading scheme of the applicant’s previous university.
- Strong commitment to the chosen academic field.
- Submit her general application to Khazar University (Baku, Azerbaijan) by not later than 1 June 2024.
Selection Criteria
- A strong motivational essay on female leadership (no less than 1,500 words).
- Possess the appropriate level of fluency in the English language.
- Demonstrate proof of high-level academic merit.
