The Al-Asala Club affiliated with the Department of Social Services invites you to participate in the student volunteering opportunity "Patronage for the Elderly - Sharjah", which gives university and college students a unique chance to communicate and socialize with the elders through the implementation of various programs (social - health - educational - artistic - religious - psychological). This volunteer aims to enhance the value of community cohesion and integration between community members and the elderly.

- Program Date: 07/03/2023 - 07/27/2023
- Time: 08:00 - 13:00
- Location: Al-Asala Club in the Elderly Services Center / Maliha Street - Sharjah
Duties & responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of approved programs for the Al-Asala Club, with the aim of:
- Creating a friendly atmosphere with the elderly.
- Enhancing the value of community cohesion and integration between community members and the elderly.

Eligibility criteria
You must follow the following criteria:
- Participation is open to university and college students.
- Number of volunteer hours: 5 hours.
- Time period: Morning period
- Participation is open to 50 volunteers.
- Both sexes can participate.
- The age group : 18: 30 years.

The Sharjah Center for Voluntary Work was established in 2016 with the aim of contributing to achieving social solidarity and community cohesion in the Emirate of Sharjah. The center undertakes the task of organizing volunteer work and spreading its culture among the members of the society and its institutions.
