Al Arabiya

Al Arabiya is a Saudi free-to-air television news channel broadcast in Modern Standard Arabic. The channel is based in Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates; it is regarded as a competitor to Al Jazeera. The channel is interested in political, sports and economic news; it began broadcasting on 3 March 2003 with funding from the Middle East Television Center (MBC).
