Türkiye Scholarships

Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded scholarship program financed by the Republic of Türkiye and designed for international students and researchers from around the world. The program aims to provide high-quality education and research opportunities for outstanding applicants while strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between Türkiye and other countries. The scholarship program in its current form was launched under the name Türkiye Scholarships in 2012. It is coordinated by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) in cooperation with several Turkish public institutions, including the Council of Higher Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and relevant authorities responsible for residence and student accommodation. Türkiye Scholarships offers a wide range of opportunities, including bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, research scholarships, and short-term programs. Benefits vary according to the specific program and may include tuition fees, a monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, Turkish language courses, flight tickets, and academic and cultural activities.
