Program Description
Fulda University of Applied Sciences in Germany offers more than 60 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs across a wide range of fields, including business administration, computer science and technology, health sciences, engineering, life sciences, nutrition, social sciences, cultural studies, and more.
The university places a strong emphasis on practical and applied education through hands-on projects, cooperation with employers, and applied research, helping students develop skills that are relevant to the job market. The university has more than 8,500 students from over 90 countries.
Fulda is a public university in the German state of Hesse and therefore does not charge traditional tuition fees. However, students are required to pay a semester contribution of approximately EUR 400 per semester, which covers a range of student services and a public transportation ticket in Germany.
Requirements
Admission requirements vary depending on the program and level of study, but generally include:
For bachelor’s programs: holding a qualification that grants access to higher education in Germany.
For master’s programs: holding a recognized bachelor’s degree in a suitable or related field.
Submitting the required academic transcripts and educational certificates.
Providing official translations of documents if they are not issued in German or English.
Meeting the program’s language requirements, whether in German or English.
Some programs may require previous training, professional experience, or additional academic qualifications.
If the applicant’s high school qualification does not provide direct access to university study in Germany, they may first be required to complete a Studienkolleg preparatory program.
Most bachelor’s programs are taught in German, but the university also offers programs taught in English or programs that require knowledge of both languages. Applicants should therefore review the specific language requirements for each program.
