Upon successful completion of the program, students receive an official degree awarded by RWTH Aachen University, one of Europe's leading technical universities.

What are the Program Requirements?

Requirements vary depending on the selected master's program, but in general applicants are expected to:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the chosen program.
  • Submit official academic transcripts showing completed courses, grades, and credit hours/ECTS credits.
  • Provide course descriptions or an academic module handbook.
  • Submit an up-to-date CV (1–2 pages).
  • Have relevant professional experience:
    • At least 6 months at the time of application.
    • At least 12 months before final enrollment.
  • Submit a GRE score for certain programs, except for specific programs such as MPA and RCE, or for graduates of the German Engineering College.
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:
    • TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 90.
    • IELTS: minimum score of 6.0.
    • Cambridge, PTE, or other recognized equivalent certificates.
  • Submit a motivation letter explaining the reasons for choosing Germany, RWTH Aachen University, and the selected program.
  • Provide two academic or professional recommendation letters.
  • Submit the final Bachelor's degree certificate or a provisional graduation certificate if the final degree has not yet been issued.

What is the Program Structure?

Most master's programs at RWTH International Academy are offered on a full-time basis and taught entirely in English. The general structure is as follows:

  • Number of Semesters: 4 semesters.
  • Credits: 120 ECTS.

In addition to tuition fees, students are required to pay the RWTH Aachen University semester contribution fee, which is approximately:
