Opportunity description

Allianz Group in Paris, France announced the International Financial Controller internship program for business school, engineer school or master degree students with a specialty in Finance/Accounting. 

About the Role:

Within the Finance Department, in Strategic Planning & Controlling team, intern actively contributes to the analysis and steering of Allianz Partners performance.
The Strategic Planning & controlling team is in charge of the financial steering of Allianz Partners business, creating transparency on performance to enable strategic insights to the business and business decision. This key position within Allianz organization gives the intern the global understanding of the group and business, and high exposure to the international senior finance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to analyze Allianz Partners performance through reporting for Top Management or Allianz Group.
  • Participate in internal processes improvement in order to optimize the group closing reports.
  • Contributing to the improvement of 2019 Allianz Partners budget process.
  • Collaborating in a transversal context with Controlling teams in Allianz Partners regions (Europe, Asia, Americas …).
  • Participating in various projects initiated by the Strategic & Controlling team.

More generally, the intern will contribute by his dynamism, his experience and his ideas to the continuous improvement of Allianz Partners financial steering.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Business school, Engineer School or Master degree with a specialty in Finance/Accounting.
  • First experience is recommended.
  • Fluent English mandatory, both written and spoken.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly focus on the accuracy of the deliverables.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
