Google is offering a job opportunity as a manager within the Sales/Marketing teams at the company for the duration of 15-18 month digital marketing apprenticeship starting in October 2018. After completing the initial training with the academic partner WhiteHat, apprentices will rotate between being onsite at Google and training at WhiteHat for gaining further experience. [1] Analyze and evaluate organizations’ digital strategies and actions for some of the world’s biggest brands
[2] Use quantitative methods, models and research to help Google better understand consumer and advertiser behavior to provide important feedback for product and clients’ digital strategies
[3] Support execution of Go-to-Market strategies and coordination for new product launches and programs (e.g. positioning, naming, external communications, competitive analysis and feature prioritization)
[4] Support insight gathering to better serve users (e.g. via focus groups, working with a research agency to develop and test hypotheses, etc.)
[5] Manage social media campaigns, and develop ideas to better engage users
Applicants must have:
[1] Five GCSEs at grade 'A - C' or '9 - 4', (including English and Mathematics), functional skills level 2 in English and Mathematics/relevant level 2 apprenticeship, or equivalent qualifications or experience
[2] Predicted B grade at A-Level or equivalent qualification in one or more subjects
[3] Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
[4] The ability to speak and write in English fluently
[5] The ability to work independently and within a team framework with excellent problem solving and customer service capabilities
[6] The willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions, and have communication and organizational skills
As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will be part of a new program launched this year that aims to provide the skills needed to become a professional Digital Marketer. You will also be equipped with everything you need to know to help customers on their digital journey, as well as receive specialized training on basic marketing principles, the fundamentals of search marketing and more. Through hands-on experience in research and web analytics, you will be in a position to apply technological solutions to achieve marketing objectives.
