Uniplaces is offering a Business Development Internship opportunity in London, the United Kingdom in 2019. Uniplaces is an international, venture-backed team, making it easy for millions of students worldwide to find and book their accommodation online. As part of its growth strategy, the company is looking for a Business Development Intern to work within the International expansion to new markets. Uniplaces are an internationally minded company with an extremely talented team and global ambitions. From activities starting in Lead generation, Lead qualification and Market analysis, you will be able to work as part of the business development team, supporting sales development. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage and acquire new landlords by presenting a value proposition through outbound cold calls.
  2. Liaise with other teams to ensure listings and property information is of high quality.
  3. Generate and Follow new business opportunities to drive pipeline growth.

Requirements:

  1. Skills are more important than experience for this internship. 
  2. On track for or achieved a 2:1 or equivalent at Undergraduate level at University, all applications from all backgrounds are welcomed. 
  3. Applicants must have outstanding verbal communication skills, and have the capability and willingness to cold call and speak with senior level executives across industries.
  4. Previous experience in a customer facing, sales or business development role would be advantageous but is not essential.
  5. Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
