Internship Opportunity at Allianz in Germany: Analytics and Digital Platform

Allianz is offering an internship opportunity in its Analytics and Digital Platform team. The team is responsible for risk labs infrastructure and financial applications which form the basis for its advisory capabilities. You will work together with an experienced team of highly skilled developers and quantitative analysts on Allianz's capital market model, a Monte Carlo scenario generator for forward-looking analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the complex graph of interdependencies within Allianz's capital markets scenario generator.
• Develop new efficient routines to tackle the graph from a computational perspective.
• Collaborate with the team and contribute to the whole software development life cycle process.

Key Requirements:

• Candidate should be enrolled in a university studying toward a Bachelors’ or master’s degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Computer science or similar and have some knowledge about graph theory.
• Fluency in English, knowledge of German would be an advantage.
• Have gathered the first professional experiences in the context of internships.
• Have strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and keen attention to detail.
• An excellent team player with good communication skills and a self-reliant working style.
• Strong analytical background and passionate about financial markets.
• Advanced development skills in C# or Python.
• Ability to analyze complex matters and break them down into clear separate pieces.
