Opportunity description

Disney is offering an internship opportunity in Culture. The Cultural Representative Program is a twelve-month work experience located in the united states. Participants have the opportunity to share the unique culture and customs of their country with Guests while working different front line, guest-facing roles. Participants must authentically represent one of the countries or regions. 

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Speak English fluently.
  2. Be at least 18 years of age to apply.
  3. Be able to authentically represent France.
  4. Be receptive to Disney LookLink opens in new window guidelines.
  5. Be fully available to work Sunday through Saturday, including days and nights, holidays and overtime.
  6. Candidates are required to attend a presentation and in-person interview in France.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively greeting and interacting with every Guest that enters or leaves the shops
  2. Demonstrating and selling merchandise (including alcohol and tobacco) in indoor and outdoor areas
  3. Filling orders, preparing and assembling food items
  4. Cash handling - manual and using computerized registers
  5. Stocking and cleaning shelves and carts
  6. Receiving/putting away stock and deliveries
  7. Stroller/wheelchair rental – including repetitive lifting
  8. Preparation of food/candy
  9. Preparing packages for shipping/delivery
  10. Possible prolonged exposure to weather conditions
  11. Working at one or more of the "rides' or theater shows
  12. Loading and unloading Guests from an attraction
  13. Operating sophisticated ride systems
  14. Retrieving and arranging strollers
  15. Assisting with emergency evacuations of attractions 
  16. Monitoring Guest flow and providing a safe Guest experience
  17. Working with FASTPASS®, the ticketing system

Benefits:

Pay rate: Cast Members will earn an hourly rate of pay starting at $13.00 per hour depending on the role they are selected to perform.
