Opportunity description

WFTO-Europe is offering 2 positions for 6- month internship from mid-August 2018 to mid-February 2019.

[1] Project Management and Fundraising.

[2] Communication and Membership & Monitoring.

As an intern at WFTO-Europe in Project Management and Fundraising you will be responsible for the following tasks:

[1] Campaign and Events: contribute to the planning and implementation of specific campaigns and the organisation of events, such as the World Fair Trade Day and others.
[2] Fundraising and Project Management: support our fundraising strategy and project activities, including narrative and financial reporting.
[3]Administration: assist with the daily business, accounting, human resource management, databases, documentation and updates.

As for an intern in Communication and Membership & Monitoring you will be responsible for the following tasks:
[1] Help develop our internal and external communication strategy, including our social channels and our newsletter.
[2] Help update the content of our website and include new features.
[3] Update and publish new posts giving visibility to member's initiatives in the WFTO Europe website, social media sites, and other means available.
[4] Bring out a newsletter every three months (manage editorial planning, identify relevant topics to be communicated to members, develop content) and circulate it to the members to the other WFTO regions.
[5] Assist in the screening of WFTO’s members’ monitoring reports as well as managing the European membership database.
[6] Registration of all incoming application from European companies.
[7] Invite new European Fair Trade organisations to join the WFTO network.
[8] Keep updated records and inform the WFTO Global Secretariat on developments.
