Opportunity description
Microsoft presents internship opportunities for UAE national students in their last semester and fresh graduates. Applications to these opportunities are considered for all available internship program roles depending on education level and/or location. The internship opportunity is a 10-months training program for Emirati nationals. The program's mission is to empower Emirati talents to accelerate their technical specialty and work experience leveraging Microsoft training, certifications and on the job training.
Eligibility:
This internship is for students in the last semester of their science, technology, engineering, or math bachelor or master degree meeting the qualifications below:
- UAE national.
- Graduate or undergraduate students.
- Have a minimum of 3.2 overall GPA.
- Have excellent verbal and written English and communication skills.

Your Responsibilities:
The internship program consists of two phases during each, participants will be required to focus on different activities and deliver different objectives.
Phase one remote learning:
- Studying and obtaining a curriculum of globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.
- Attending Microsoft technology workshops at Microsoft UAE offices on a monthly basis.
- Interacting with Microsoft mentors and coaching on a biweekly basis.
- Delivering a technology (theoretical) assignment.
Phase two- On the job training includes opportunities like:
- Participating in multiple job shadowing opportunities in different sectors of Microsoft business in UAE.
- Mentorship and coaching sessions on a biweekly basis.
- Attending and passing open online courses.
- Participating in Microsoft CSR or philanthropic activities.
