Internship for Manufacturing Engineers at Ford Motor Company in the US

Are you pursuing a degree in Engineering and want to be part of Ford’s Manufacturing team?

Ford Motor Company invites Manufacturing engineers from all around the world to work on a team that manufactures more than 150,000 vehicles daily at 65 facilities worldwide. The position will be based in the United States, and will be helpful to the company as Manufacturing enables Ford facilities around the world to produce world-class products for customers everywhere, as well as produce flawless vehicles in a high quality, efficient, safe and sustainable manner. Over the summer, interns work to help improve Ford’s Manufacturing production system and specifically improve Ford’s safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, maintenance and environmental systems.

Applicants must:

[1] Be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Welding Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Material Science Engineering or Agricultural Engineering

[2] Have a 3.0 GPA or equivalent

[3] Be at a junior level educational status or above

[4] Be willing to relocate

[5] Be able to adapt to a dynamic working environment including world-class manufacturing facilities

[6] Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that are required to build relationships with team members and customers

[7] Be able to manage and deliver a program based on a project timeline

[8] Be able to use analytics to track cost, quality, safety and delivery on program projects

[9] Be interested in the automotive industry and Manufacturing

[10] Be legally authorized to permanently work in the United States, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position
